I know what i did last summer...

Delaqroux Inc Updates!

I have been super busy the past one month and i for once finally get to say that i dont have enough time to blog about things.. wait, i've said that before? Yeah, maybe i did... Well, in any case, this is one of those times that i am so busy that i barely have enough time to blog about something. But regardless, i finally find myself an empty slot of freedom before i doze of to dreamland so here is a super quick recap.

**switches to internal power supply EVA-001 style**

Remember how i resolved to say yes to mostly everything that comes into my way? Well, yes, the very way of living has made me to say "yes" up til a point that it really tires me out. For one thing, i ended up with 18 clubs (number still growing as we speak here) and everytime there'll be a meeting, i will say "yes, i'll be there". Obviously, each and every meeting is draining me out of my own energy here but the gain is so worth it. I've made many new friends (Ryan, Sina, Sina (yep, there's two of them), Shade, Ryan's dad, Bhuvah, Noosh, Ho-San, Vincent, Benny, Richard, Fred, Seng Min, Tanasha, Dai Ling, Lorax, Rocky Raccoon, Bananaman, Andrew, Matt, Risa Shibata, Scott, Terrence, Lauren, Amanda, Flora, Anh, Simon, Samuel, Kenta, Ren, Ishak, Jack, Debbie, Bob, Wendy... and these are only the ones that i can remember, for those who isnt mentioned; i'm so so sorry for forgetting you guys..), opened up my mind and heart to things i never imagine i'll be in (Islamic teaching, Baha'i faith, Christianity, Buddhism, Atheism, Skeptism, science and religion, world of gays and lesbians, the mentally disordered etc.), get to join find time with fine-r people from all around the world (Hillsong Concert, random gatherings and dinners, Dinner and Blurb at Glebe Cafe, trip to Katoomba, Blue Mountain.. and the list goes on and on). I mean, life's good when you actually accepts it with open arms. Gee.. Darkie, where do you find all the time for that? What about class? Yeah, i have my classes and i havent miss any single one of both lecture and tutorials alike. As a matter of fact, lecture is just another oppturnity for me to get to know another random stranger, ecspecially during EDUC260's partner work during mass lectures. we have readings to do at home and while i missed a few, i would say that have nothing to do with me being busy with all those society groups. It's just me refusing to do the reading as of pure laziness :p We have already received our first assignment. While it may seem scary to few, it seems pretty enjoyable to me. I mean, we are asked to write on our literacy autobiography. While alot of people see it as some kind of a heavy work, i just consider it just as another blogpost-making (except for the fact that you're talking about your experience with language learning... what can be so hard about writing blogs, no?)

Anyways, as how Alia normally say it; it's kungfu panda time.
It's 10 o'clock but i am already feeling drowzy.
So yep, nite nite ppl!

Delaqroux Inc-to the Wild

Delaqroux Inc Review: Delaqroux Inc-to the Wild!!

A story of a young man, Dark A. Delaqroux (played by Adnin Azmi) who, after multiple cases of dissapointment in the material world, decided to finally abandon it (for a day.. yeah, that STILL counts as abandoning!) and ventured to the wilderness of Katoomba, Blue Mountain.

He began the quest on a convoy of people from the land of the Oriental, China, who are not English-profficient but Adnin soon discovered that if he desires to leave the material world and venture to the world unknown to him (for a day.. shaddap! IT STILL COUNTS!), he must leaves his familiarities behind.. even he's own language and his own identity.

Join him as he began his spirit(bush)walking (and in a 4WD at some points) into the no-man's land of Katoomba, eventually making more cohorts along the way; Vincent (played by Jia Lai), the cool guy from China hunted by his haunted past of a (proclaimed) crazy friend, Emily, and Tanesha (played by.. well.. Tanesha), the mysteriously lady with a desire for adventure and a knack for dissapearing.

This is...
SPARTA!!!!

That Facebook Girl

Just give me five minutes,
Spare a moment for me,
A little bit of your time,
And i'll tell you what i see;
A pretty girl and a fine lady,
Always ever sweet with her smile,
I wish i can see her as happy,
as that picture in her profile.

I'm talking about that Facebook girl,
With that profile picture full of lies,
Looking like she has no care in the world,
But inside wishing for a better life.

As how her shoutout always change,
The smile never dissapears,
I always think its strange,
Coz reality, she's always in tears,
It was always complicated,
The relationship that she is in,
She was always broken hearted,
And her faith is growing thin.

I'm talking about that Facebook girl,
With that profile picture full of lies,
Looking like she has no care in the world,
But inside wishing for another life.

Every shots from her camera phone,
I see all those guys complimenting,
But i know how she still feels alone,
Even with all the attention she's getting.
Everyone follows the latest news,
And updates of this beautiful girl,
Never to care how is it to be in her shoes,
To never to able find anything that's real.

I'm talking about that Facebook girl,
With that profile picture full of lies,
Looking like she has no care in the world,
When she's already barely having a life.

This... is... MARDI GRAAAAA!!!!

Title speak all for itself. Haha.
Delaqroux Inc Updates!

Ah.. yes, If there's one thing in your to-do list when you're in Sydney is definitely attending Mardi Gras, the gay/lesbian parade. Well, truth is, i never really know there is such thing goin on in Sydney and i thought if there's such thing as gay or lesbian or all this crazy subculture parade-ish, it will be in the U.S (all my friends from the United States, i know this is kind of sterotyping but hey, it's pretty much a compliment too). Regardless, yeah, we ventured to the City for the Mardi Gras parade and here'll be updates!

As a side note here, alot of those people who have been to Mardi Gras parade the year before warned us to be careful as things can get pretty ugly... ecspecially for the guys. Wait, what does that supposed to mean? This is when i recalled what Madam Caroline Yong was talking to me about me being small and look... well.. cute-ish (i didnt say this! It was her, i swear!), attracting girls to be your girlfriend is one thing.. accidentally attracting gay guys in a major another. So, i was like, uiks! I dont wanna get gay raped!! Thanks to such thoughts clouding up my head, i started running to and fro (figuratively), thinking whether should i be attending the parade or not. The moment of truth calls when finally one of my friends asked me if i am attending Mardi Gras tomorrow. I was expecting everyone to be attending actually and to be a left out is kinda sad. So i just swallowed back my fear and, with my utmost manly voice, i went, "Why not?"

So yep, there was all this saying about human being paranoid and believing in rumours a little too much, right? In this case, it does for me but i still ended up in Mardi Gras anyway. There was some disturbing sight upon my arrival there. Mostly when we're passing through Hyde park, there was some sighting of guys only in their T-underpants, guys and girl in skimpy mistress and sex slave outfit, people wearing all sorts of costumes...only to leave their backside naked exposed and finally, ah... yes... all homophobias favourite (this goes for you too, Adam), a dude 90% naked but in what suggestively seems to be a sailor outfit (Kill Bill shocked BGM). When we finally reaches Oxford Street, i position myself somewhere deep within the audiences, not to be so visible to anyone in hope that none of those guys.. or well... gays see me. But Alia wanted a better view so she moved all the way to the front and i followed. Eheheh..

But its not all that bad after all. Of course the parde began with all sorts of crazy outfits and acts but it was fun to see all those un-straight people full of their gay/lesbian energy passing by us, dancing, acting, singing or just plain smiling and waving at us. Obviously, there was some disturbing sights in which may not be appropriate if you're among those people who really.. well.. new to the harsh world of gay and lesbians but in all, it was nice to see such effort being put into raising their message to the public in a clean.. okay, i have to cross that out- it wasnt really all that "clean".. fun way. Standing for 3 and a half hours of waiting and reserving the front row seat was worth it and yeah, this is the first time ever that i was crazily taking pictures and recording everything that my camera ran out of battery. So you can guess how worthwhile the sightseeing was =D

P/S: There was some dudes fighting over some girl while we were waiting at the bus stop and one of those guys went like, "Oi, you wanna fuck w'me?? You wanna fuck w'me??" to the other guy... For one thing, the parade earlier today was promoting unity, peace and love so, these guys really ruin up the atmosphere. And secondly, why not tell that to the gay sex master and slaves and yeah, maybe you all can literally be fucked :p

They're making out... so?

Delaqroux Inc Updates

Just a few moments ago, before i begin to type up this blogpost, Lee knocked my door, claimed that he wanted to 'borrow' my room with a handycam in his hand and start positioning himself by the window and recording something outside. Okay, i might just let this slip by easy but he caught me at the wrong time (bad mood mode, ready to get pissed with anything that moves). Turned out that there was a car parked outside and there is a guy and a girl inside. Lee claimed that the couple were making out in the car and so, i guess the handycam there.. well, explains everything.

Now that i think of it. I've been hearing people being all nosy like, "eh, got couple there making out in the car!", "one white guy bed himself a chinese girl tonight", "someone banging over there, look!", "they're making out! come on, take the cam" from all over (You know if those lines belong to you. I dont need to tag your name there). All the way from Malaysia, i always thought making out is the normal-est thing (holding hands, hugging, kiss on cheek etc. to my interpretation is BEYOND normal-est) and there's nothing to make a big fuss about. Moving to Aussie, i reckon that it'll be my Malay friends who might not be so easy about all this people making out in public stuff. Turned out, everyone's the same and the only word i can think about at the moment to describe those people being super "jakun" about some public making out is "pathetic"

I mean, seriously, Malaysian are pure gossip generators everywhere. The slightest thing that may raise a lil suspicion is like a volcanic eruption of gossip entities! And now, i've a whole bunch of these Malaysian "jakun" with me. Can we actually stop seeing all this making out, going out together, inviting a lady into the house as something of paparazzi. I mean, if you see a couple making out or banging in the streets (Yes, couple banging in the streets), you dont need to go all hooh-hah about it. There's no need to shout as if you just saw Jesus reincarnating for the third time. THere's no need to cover your eyes (if you feel uneasy, just look away. is that so hard?). There's no need to make assumption or statement about somebody gonna get laid real hard(Russel Peters style). Just... i dunno... grow up! Why is all the fuss about. Personally, if i see a really sweet looking couple being affectionate to each other, i will just go "aww.. they look so sweet" or "God bless them" and i will just tell that to myself ( and the very worse i have gone when seeing ppl making out in front of me was "damn.. i really need to find myself a gf... =3="). I've passed the phase of those little kids seeing adults making out and go "yuck" or "gross!" or whatever... why cant these guys do the same?

UPDATE: Anonymous has been doing an all out effort to actually link one pic of my proclaimed hypocrisy up in the comment section. Just to help him out, i'll post the pic here as well as the caption to make things easy for himself and everyone.

CAPTION: "Wasnt spying or anything but these two LOOKED SO SWEET TOGETHER... Up to a point where they didnt move for 30 minutes...wow.."

And yeah, this is like one of the sweetest scenes i see up to date that i cant resist to take a picture of it (i am still going "aish.. so sweet la this couple..." everytime i see this picture.. dont mind me :p). My intention of taking and uploading this picture on facebook have nothing to do with me making fun of them and how they are acting (much less being a hypocrite as it has nothing contradicting my own views and my claims), it's just of pure appreciation of a beautiful scene. The one thing that i am annoyed with is how people make fun of this public display of affection and regard it as a controversy generator as if it is some dirty sexual act in public and should be recorded for future-making-fun-of, rather than something heartwarming. I can take this picture down if anyone's not pleased with it, of course. Just let me know. Sorry and thanks.

And anonymous (the one who claimed i'm pathetic and a hypocrite), sorry if u find this post offensive but this is how my blog goes. It does get offensive once in awhile. Please dont take it personally. Thanks for the read and the comment anyway =)
