Delaqroux Inc Updates LIVE in KLIA!!!
To make clear of some things first; me being in Kuala Lumpur International Airport have nothing to do with any delussional travel of truth into the past or the future (spirit walking is a newly presented term in Season 3 of Heroes in which refers to a sub-concious phase of yourself travelling through time and space continuum in order to find a knowledge that you seek). So here's the story behind me finding myself in KLIA.
(EDITED: the original title for this post was KLIA SPIRITWALK. So yeah, the previous paragraph might not make much sense, sorry)
I was in my room, shortly back from KL Central after me and my sidekick, little Adam Jay sent Lee to the KLIA from Central's KLIA Express train, when both of us got a lil suprise call. It was from Lee and if there's one reason why Lee would call an hour after he was sent to KLIA surely wouldnt be that he has reached Sarawak safely. But, he has missed his flight. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Lee has just got himself stuck in KLIA with all his luggages only to be able to take the next flight to Miri approximately around 6pm the next day. Oh, and did i mention what time was it when we received Lee's little call of doucheness? It was around 10.30pm. So, wise o' ladies and gentlemen, take out your calculator or perhaps your math wiz hat alongside a piece of paper and a pencil and pls, do the maths. If Lee missed his flight which is supposed to be at 10pm on Saturday, only to be able to take the next flight in 6pm the day after; how long does poor Lee Kok Lian has to wait in KLIA before his plane arrives? Yes, around 20 more hours stuck in KLIA. Talk about The Terminal crossover-ing with Dumb and Dumber =3=
In any case, Lee's little phone call for us wasnt aiming to give us a whole night of laughter. Instead, he seeketh for a little company (20 hours of waiting in the KLIA terminal, who wouldnt go crazy without any company?) and thus Adnin and Adam came to the rescue! *plays heroic theme song* Regardless, it was already 10.45pm and the last LRT to Central is at 11pm and the last bus from Central to KLIA is at 11.30pm! Our heroes got changed instantly despite the absence of any phone booths in the proximity and rushed out towards the door, Rush Hour style! As most of you might have already think of it, me, looking like a Chinese guy would obviously represent Jackie Chan and Adam, being slightly... tanned would of course represent Chris Tucker. In any case, that's not the point here coz Adam has feelings too so let us recognize Adam as Gimli the Dwarf and me representing Legolas the Elf Archer (still due to my fairer skin so i represent more similarly to an elfen warrior) as we rush towards saving Frodo (Well, Lee Kok Lian, of course, who else) from the evil clutches of isolation and boredom in the god forsaken land of KLIA!!! Thus, The Fellowship of the Lost Sarawakian is born!!!
We managed to arrive there on time and we caught Lee deeply immersed in his laptop, an early significance of aforecoming self-swallowing quicksand of boredom. We managed to get him back to his feet on time and we demanded an explanation of what actually happened over the missed the flight... over dinner in KFC! Nonetheless, RM14.90 for a Snack Plate!? Like, OMGWTFSOEXPENSIVE!!??11 It was then only that i remembered that meals in KLIA do appear to be more expensive compared to the ones in KL, similar to Genting and Langkawi. Oh well, this stomach hungers for a decent Hot and Spicy Meal and thus, Adnin submitted to slightly more expensive KFC snack plate... It was a hard decision to make for both me and my little sidekicks, Adam and Lee, as brood over our hardly saved money being taken away ruthlessly by the counter-lady. But what's this?? I asked for Hot and Spicy Chicken but what did i get?? It was an original one!! No, an original Hot and Spicy!! Hot and Spicy Chicken with its original recipe!! I paid extra and it was actually worth it; I received originality in my snack plate!! God!! It's the original recipe Hot and Spicy!!! (Okay, those whole crap about original hot and spicy got you confused, here's the explanation: recently, i have realized that HnS Chicken in KFC all over KL never had the original kick in it. For some different taste, i think they changed the original HnS recipe with the curry HnS recipe. I mean, check for yourself, the whole texture of the original and the 'fake' HnS Chicken looks different! The 'fake' one has red and black powder-ish thingy on top of them. The original has none. The 'fake' one taste like some kind of a cheap fried chicken went wrong- the original HnS tasted... original-ly heavenly! Back to the story, it was the original version of HnS being served in KLIA! The extra charges are worth it! I thought i was paying for a snack plate but no, i paid and i get a taste of the past!! And it was a blast!!)
After dinner, we finally understood how Lee had missed his flight. It was a long story but allow me to summarize it simply: Lee was a retard and he missed his flight, the end. In any case, the following hours after dinner was nothing exciting. Before we know it, both Adam and me was also swallowed up in KLIA's vortex of abbyss.. and boredom. Seriously, the shops are closing (in exception of few like McD and some bakery shop). We settled for a glass of Coke for all the three of us and we kept going for the free refilling all the way till morning (in total, we asked for 7 refills- talk about being cheapskates). Eitherways, i did fell asleep by some corner in the terminal for an hour and trust me, the floor was friggin cold. I woke up for awhile around 7am to look at the landing and take-off track for plans and i quite enjoy it, until a hell big bunch of kids start running in and out of the viewing patio overlooking the tracks and the plane hangar. Wish i can just tell them to shut up! I mean, cant anyone see that a once-wished-to-be-a-pilot guy have his own fantasy moment here!? Geez.. Dissapointed and wishing i have the power to blow up the whole viewing patio, i returned back to where Lee was sitting down (my previously sleeping corner) and went back to sleep. Oh, and by the way, it was already 10am by that time. lolz. Yep, I slept for another one hour and great gosh, it was friggin cold. I woke up an hour later only to realize that Lee and Adam were also sleeping next to me. It was then when i looked around the terminal and i realized that the whole place was already alive with people and we're the only bunch of people still sleeping by the corner. Wakaka! So this is how homeless feels like huh? Sleeping in public places with no care in the world while everyone else is rushing up and down the terminal is kind of fun.
Finally, we waited up until 12pm where Lee, fortunately, seem to get an empty seat on an earlier flight to Miri and thus he obligely accepted. Therefore, me and Adam headed back to IPBA with the thought of Lee, finally being able to fly to Sarawak, happily ever after.... The End. P/S: As a side note here; do not stick with Lee upon going aboard my flight to Sydney next year- he might just suddenly come with a sequel to this whole missing-flight-adventure thingy and i obviously, wouldnt want that to happen this time =__="
