7 1/2 days crave for KFC

Delaqroux Inc Updates!!

The Indian legend (well, maybe not really a legend but more of a saying) has it that the concept of Karma in life works in close relation with the number 7 1/2. In other words; a specific continuous state of luck, bad luck, happiness, sadness, sorrow etc. will last only for 7 and a half days, months or years before the current state take a total opposite turn whereby the individual will obtain a new state or point in where it is worth of the period of 7 and a half and also the opposite of it (Indian Taxi Driver, 2008)

In any ways, if this theory is to be put parallel with a real-life context example, then i would say that the karma incident in which involving the craving of both me and Adam for Kentucky Fried Chicken can be a good example. As a matter of fact, both of us were craving for KFC for quite some time but were never able to get any. It all started out with the night in which both of us were studying for our MS test, specifically at 12.00am. For some strange and unknown reason, some group of people of a different dorm started frying chicken in their dormitory house and if i am to use any adjective to describe that particular smell right now in this blog, no word can do justice on how aromatic the smell of hot, fried chicken in cooking oil by that time. That is when we vowed to have KFC the very next day no matter what it takes. Also at the same time, i finally understand what it meant by "craving". I wanted KFC. I MUST have KFC.

However, things didnt go well the next day. We found ourselves busy on the next day (DAY ONE). There were no free time for us to go for KFC for lunch as something dragged on all the way till the evening. We didnt get to go for KFC for dinner as well. Adam settled for cafe food and I got myself involved in Farouk's birthday dinner. It was of course, way better than KFC for dinner but i still WANT KFC. The day after (DAY TWO) was a busy one as well as we had to study for our LNL test. So both of us just settled for cafe food again (That made it twice for Adam). After the test on the next day (DAY THREE) however, Bee Fei asked me to join her in settling our passports issues right after class and although the plan changed by the last minute, we got caught we something else during dinner. On the following day (DAY FOUR), the plan to settle all the passprt issue went along as planned. I guess the settling of my passport issue doesnt take that long but i ended up spending more of the time accompanying Bee Fei as she settled for hers. I do find her company enjoyable and thus, i ended up finishing almost half of the afternoon with her in Pusat Bandar Damansara. By the time i reached back, i fell asleep and Adam, joined my nap... only to wake up at 9pm later and that consequently means, "NO KFC FOR DINNER". After class on the next day (DAY FIVE) we were occupied with meetings and classes for the afternoon. Somehow, we agreed to follow Revathy and Preena to KL Central for some Deepavali outfit hunt. The original plan was that we were to look around in the bazaar all the way till the evening and we are to settle for KFC for dinner afterwards. Regardless, it turned out that Sharalan Menon, Preena's bf, joined us and for some strange twist, we ended up having dinner in an Indian shop instead. On the next day (DAY SIX), it was rainy all day long. It started out drizzling in the afternoon so we planned to have KFC for dinner instead. As another twist of fate, the rain lasted all the way till the night and both of us were grounded with no KFC whatsoever. As the next day followed (DAY SEVEN) we saw everything coming. Classes ended up a lil too late for a KFC lunch and we promised to accompany Shen-Ann and Wee Kiat for dinner in Kg Baru. The dinner of Chicken Goldon Bleu was obviously fantastic but there were no KFC for that day.

Finally, on the next day (DAY SEVEN), we planned to join a few girls for an outing to KLCC. THey were planning to eat Burger King's breakfast set but we remembered that in KLCC, a KFC outlet is situated right opposite of Burger King and so, the plan to eat KFC on that day was set. However, we overslept and the girls had already left... but we went way too far to turn back now, we woke up (eventhough we overslept) way too early to go back to sleep. Inspired by the theme song of the Extreme Ghostbuster show, we went straight to KFC in Pasar Seni and yes, we had our KFC there with no obstacles whatsoever. We were among the outlet's earliest customer that morning so all the chickens are freshly fried and juicy. The whole place was empty so we get to choose any seat that we want and of course, we got ourselves the best one on the second floor of the outlet where there were absolutely no one there at all. So there we were, with the perfect seating, the perfect corner, the perfect view (we sat by the window overlooking the Pasar Seni street), the perfect environment and most importantly, THE FRIGGIN' PERFECT KFC MEAL!!!11oneone XD It was heavenly! I had two big piece of Hot and Spicy chicken, a glass of 7up Revive, A whole set of Cheesy BBQ Meltz and some Cheezy Wedges... It was beyond heavenly. We took two hours finishing up our food itself. God, it was indeed far surpassing heavenly... We did what we are meant for on that very moment; just to satisfy our demand for a heavenly KFC meal at last.

THE END

funny how both of us always see a KFC outlet here and there and just ignore it and once we actually crave for it, it seems super hard to go there even once...
