Today have been activity-less. It's just another lazy day of mine lying down and not doing anything except sticking my eyesight up to my laptop screen. But, the way how things turned out right now, these past two days have been extremely productive.
Well, in truth, i'm undergoing through somewhat of a psychology and mental theraphy. Before you start drawing up conclusion, yes, i am well. Its just that after quite some thinking, random discussions with a couple of my buddies, as well as the emergence of 2009 in just another 18 hours from now, i figured that i might actually need to reprogram everything back in my head. After all, next year's gonna bring a hell lot of impact with myself being in Australia for two years and all. So, i need a theraphy (or theraphies) to make sure that some old, worn-out datas inside my head is exterminated and new, nicer ones are installed in. Regardless, those therapies ended up just popping in without me even realizing and yeah, i can feel some reprogramming reoccuring up in my head right now. You dont need a place of zen, or wise monks to tell you what are there that needs to be reprogrammed or whatever, you just need a laptop... and a very good therapist. Oh, my therapist? Well, it's Adam Sandler.
So this how it began, first up is Adam Sandler's "Anger Management" session. THe whole theraphy, as the name implies, dealed with my own anger problem and yes, how to manage it. I learned that throughout our life in which we feel mad or angry at people, approximately 90% of those moments that you are angry with those people (or sometimes even things) around you were actually moments where you are actually angry at yourself. There is no statistic to back it up and i wager it need not any. Well, the theory goes on the foundation that things does not exist around you, sticking to you automatically. However, everything around you co-exist together with you. If you're stuck in a life as someone who, for say, undergoing a teaching course programme and will be going to Aussie next year, well, this have nothing to do with people forcing you in the course or you not having any other choices, its the steps you take. You decide on your own destiny and you're the one who have chosen that path. Simultaneously, the environment that you choose to be in reflects your own self (as it is your course of chosen paths, after all) and the time that you are actually sighing or cursing at things or people around you, you're actually cursing at yourself. So learn to deal with. Putting blames on things around you does not help in any way. Nevertheless, do not put the blame up for yourself, face things through instead. And make the best out of any weaknesses or disabilities that you're not pleased with. That is only the time when you can make the fullest of being yourself in your life.
Next, is Adam Sandler's "50 First Dates" theraphy. Well, i went through this session a few times years ago and yeah, it worked marvellously. But now that its already included within the package then why not go through it again? Well, what i learned from this theraphy that there will always be matters that counts the most to you and through this session, the matter is symbolized as a someone. Of course, the first few moments you have with that someone would be great and the most reasonable excuse to this is that you did not know that someone thoroughly that all of her/his flaws are still well hidden under. As the day passes on, you realize that the special someone to you might get old and by old here i mean, possibly normal, not as distinctive as how you thought she/he was or plainly flawful. But you have to remember that deep inside, it was still the same special someone that you met on the very first day. No matter how it annoys or upsets you, that was the same unique someone you met 10 years ago. And when love gets into the picture, it doesnt matter how lengthy the time period is. You just have to treasure that special someone just as exactly as how you did the first time you two met. If you made her to fall in love with you on your first date, then do it everyday up until she/he dies. That unique person does not gets old, you do. So make love out of nothing at all and treasure it just as fresh as it was on the very first day even after 50 days.
(Aaaaand, as a side note, i still cried to 50 First Dates this time as well.. Bleh...)
Finally, the latest in the installment is Adam Sandler's "Click". From what it was on the brochure and the posters, i thought Click was a cheap flick. Well, i was wrong. This theraphy brings alot of messages, Relatively to my own life, i noticed that there are moments in life that i just wanted to skip, wishing i have a remote that can skip everything up to the next chapter where it really counts. Actually, you can if you want to. Just go on your naturally built "auto-pilot" mode. Everybody has one. Just go to that automatically pilotted self of yours that just go through life; focusing on only your important aspect, neglect any emotional of others, let all those emotionality slip by and go through life like a robot programmed to just move ahead. The motive is that life is a bed of roses, pretty but thorny. If you dont want to go through the thorny part, well, you can choose not to. But what is exactly the point i'm making here is that if you choose to skip the thorns, you miss the chance to smell the roses as well. Obviously life can be painful at times and you can choose to ignore all those pain and focus on being your own number one. Yet, what about all those people always by your sidelines rooting for you, those moment where you teamed up with a stranger or someone you cared to get through things together and even those promises that everything will be okay once you pass through the thorny bushes? If you choose to stay away from the fire, obviously you risk not of being burnt but you will never experience the gentle warmth of the flame itself. Thus, treasure life like how it deserves to be. Never leave anyone who may need you as you may need them more than you actually know. Life may be a bed of roses, all thorny and prickly but that's where all the butterflies and the sweet smell is at.. That is where life is at as well..
So yep, these are my sessions with Adam Sandler. I'm technically about done but i'm getting recommendation to have two more session before the countdown of 2009. One is another self-reprogramming session (but probably no Adam Sandler this time) and the other is just a reflecting session of 2008 and my newly installed mental application. Till then, have a good New Year Eve, ladies and gentlemen. Cheerio! =D

Qroux Hair Crisis
Delaqroux Inc Updates
Before i begin with the update, there was this time in 2006 when i was working in Shakey's Pizza, Selayang Mall. Sniff... Oh ya, as a side note; I miss Big Boss (yep, i call her that eventhough everyone else call her Kak or Miss Liza :p), Afzan-senpai, Am-senpai (wonder if you two still in that lovey dovey relationship), Siti-senpai (who's always pissed off with me but we're the number 1 partner-in-crime when it comes to sabotaging customers... whoops!), Ija-senpai (my kakak angkat who backs me up when i kena marah Big Boss or Siti-senpai) and not forgetting; Liza, Juffry Naim, Ling... and another girl who i cannot remember her name (crybaby girl who always asks me to buang sampah for her every closing time DX). In any case, although i worked at a fast food premise, i kept my hair long (and Big Boss was super pissed everytime til she actually had a session with me on how to tie my hair =D). But then there was this one time when i was at the outdoor section, sweeping the floor and i heard this guy start calling "amoi! amoi!" somewhere behind me. I just ignored it coz.. well... yeah, it have nothing to do with me. But then suddenly the voice comes directly from behind me (the guy was asking "amoi, the promotion today still on ah?), so i turned around. And there was just two malay guys behind me... No amoi... WTF??? Seriously the guys went like "eh!!!!!! sorry sorry!!! umm.... salah orang!!" and rushed away. Still remember how Siti realized this and start telling every staffs about it... Goddamnit.... =3=
So, yeah, lesson learned, no more long hairs DX
ANyways, back to present time, my hair is long again right now. Well, its not exactly as long as last time that i can tie it up in a tiny ponytail but anyways, knowing that i will be attending this meeting with the BPG next month, well, guess i better have my hair cut... WAAAAAAAAAA!!!! But i dont want to cut my hair! I like the length the way it is right now (especially the front reaching all the way down past my nose. EMoness!!! =D). The back? Well, its touching my collar obviously but its not that long, right? right? The only aspect of my hair that i dont like is that its too bushy. If i'm going to a barber, i rather have my hair trimmed, not cut. But the issue is now, no effing barbers in Selayang understands me!!! I mean seriously, Mamaks will chop off everything regardless when you say that you just want it trimmed and not cut. They dont care. They just cut everything off! Everytime i go to a Mamak haircut shop, i will ask them to go easy on the front (dowan to be cut, just layer it) and what did the guy do? He just slice it off and i was like "NO! NO! NO!!!!" NOOOO!!!" but its way too late. So, mamak = pure lawnmowers. What about chinese barbers then? Well, some of them are good but some of them arent. In any case, they normally take "go easy on the cut" way too seriously, by the time my hair finished, i was like, "did the guy actually cut my hair? It looks the same..." I once told this guy to trim my hair into layers, not cut it and 15 minutes later, i look at the result and there's no difference. The guy's excuse? Well, my hair is layered naturally so he need not do much with my hair (what?? then what am i paying you 15 bucks for??). So that's the thing!! NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME!!!!!! **emo mode engaged**
Oh yeah, you might suggest "why not just pay attention to what the barber is doing so that you can tell him/her how to cut your hair the way you want to? (and not be in dispair with the results later)" Well, if i can, i would love to. Remember that i am wearing glasses? Remember that my glasses sightstrength is almost 1000? So do you wager that i can see anything if i take off my glasses during a haircutting session? No, i cant. So, the time when i'm in a barbershop, i'm totally rendered defenseless. I cant see shit!!!
So what am i to do with my hair?? Beep!!! Beep!!! Beeeeeep!!!!

Instead, as a side mission, spread the words and make sure any vulnerabilities we have towards this threat is exterminated. Mankind needs to know about this potential threat and we have to know it fast. Anyways, gentlemen, i present you...... Charlie...
**KILL BILL shocking sound effect plays in the background, audiences fell into a silence and broke into an even more chaotic hustles. Some start screaming in disgust and horror, while some just scream for no apparent reason... proving how highly potential this potential threat can be to mankind and their sanity**
This is Charlie aka. The Rove Beetle. Well, actually, it's the other way round but in any case. This picture here shows us the image of our adversary with the ability of spreading an epidemic even worse than Talesemia...
**A lady audience raises hands**
Yes?
**Lady audience askes: "Talesemia is technically a genetical epidemic so it does not spread unless both the parents are identified as careers. Hence, labeling Talesemia as being such a contageous infection is incorrect"... Crowd fell into silence**
....Oh. AND YOU'RE A WITCH!!!! BURN HER!!!!!
**Crowd burns smart-ass lady audience**
Ahem... As you can see, we dont negotiate with smart-assness in democracy. In any case, the "ROVE" in rove beetle stands for "Royal Omen Vanquish Everything" and from here, we can see how this Charlie was an omen back in medievil times as being something that will destroy mankind if it is left unnawared and unexterminated. In scientific explanation that does not make any sense at all, the haemolyph (lolz.. Hemo! Hemo! Hemo!!!!! Weeeee!!! XD) in the entire beetle's body (except for the wings) contains the most poisonous animal contact toxin known as "pederin" (or otherwise C24 H43 O9 N aka. "Chon" minus the numbers). As a matter of fact, this toxin is 12 times more poisonous than a cobra's venom... pfft... Ya right...
**Audience laughes and claps in delight**
Contact collision with the beetle while travelling or sleeping, crushing it on the body or smearing with soiled fingers can cause conjunctivitis and severe dermatitis known as dermatitis linearis, paederus (rove beetle /staphylinidae) dermatitis, whiplash dermatitis (lolz.. titis). Additionally, according from an article taken from http://www.jazzeeka.com/, in September 2002 an epidemic of dermatitis linearis caused by rove beetles affected thousands of high rise flat dwellers and dormitory students in Penang, Malaysia. That explains Penang people being retarded... they're actually poisoned!!!!
**Crowd gasps**
Gentlemen, this is no ordinary matter. We need to take full precautionary action to stop these Charlies to stop spreading any viruses among us. Our enemy will be upon us no matter when or where. And chances of terminating the whole species of it may be impossible. But, we can still try..
**Background Music: Medal of Honor Orchestra**
They want to attack us in our sleep, we shall have fine mosquito nettings. They are attracted with the lights in our houses, we shall stay in the dark. They wanna give us an epidemic, well, we DONT squash them like the bugs they are!!!! WE SHALL BLOW THEM AWAY AS GENTLY AS POSSIBLE AWAY FROM OUR SKIN!!!! Gentlemen, i have a dream that no skin shall ever be infected with pederin no more! I have a dream that everyone shall wash with soap upon the body parts that have made physical contact with this bug! I have a dream that those seemingly infected WILL SEEK INSTANT MEDICAL ATTENTION!!!!!
**Crowd roars in anticipation**
We shall not let them lay a finger upon us and our children! If it's war they want, its war they shall have!!!! ALL THEIR TOXIN ARE NOT BELONGS TO US!!!!!
**Crowd roars in bigger anticipation, streams of joyful tears drips away from their shiny eyes full of hope and spirit to survive. The whole world was filled with enthuthiasm, will to live, courage to survive and most importantly... darkness and hatred for earth shall only be meant to be lived by human beings and human beings only....**
THE END...

Delaqroux Inc Updates!
While i have been an avid (is there such word and is this the right usage?) Gatherer to the whole Magic the Gathering trading card game world since last October, i was playing with multiple decks. One of them is a tri-color Esper (consisting of artifact creatures). Playing with esper was fun but the complexity of managing a deck with three colors at the same time can be overwhelming for a beginner (Richard, 2008). Hence, i halted the build as i lacked pretty much good cards to make an Esper deck complete. Next, i played with a Jace Beleren Blue Deck. While almost every player stereotyped the Jace (Ice) vs Chandra (Fire) war as being such a one sided battle, i sided with Jace Beleren's deck being the most strongest in truth. I've beaten Chandra so many times and even won a two on one battle (after my tag partner loses the match, leaving me with a half health opponent and another with completely full one... and oh yeah, my life total was just 6 back then). Finally i found out the latest joy of playing with a White Kithkin Deck and i traded my Jace Beleren for a whole lot of cards to fix my new Kithkin Deck (hence, no more Jace Beleren deck T___T). Though i lost a precious Jace Beleren card, the sacrificed went for a good cause as i started building my latest and most probably, permanent deck; the Kithkin Battalion
So here's my latest buildup:
Goldmeadow Stalwart (x4)
Goldmeadow Stalwart (x4)
Goldmeadow Harrier (x4)
Wizened Cenn (x4)
Thoughtweft Trio (x3)
Knight of Meadowgrain (x4)
Preeminent Captain (x2)
Kithkin Zephyrnaut (x3)
Kinsbaile Balloonist (x3)
TOTAL of 27 CREATURES
Endless Horizon (x3)
Militia's Pride (x3)
Armored Ascension (x4)
Redeem the Lost (x3)
Mine Excavation (x4)
Holy Day (x4)
(soon to come) Mirrorweave (x4)
TOTAL of 25 NON-CREATURES
Plains (x20)
TOTAL OF CARDS IN LIBRARY: 72
Sideboard:
Cenn's Tactician (x4)
Burrenton Forge-Tender (x4)
Mistmeadow Skulk (x4)
Heart of Light (x4)
Oblivion Ring (x4)
Yes, i know that i'm playing 12 cards above the safe limit of 60 but a problem with Kithkin deck is that they ran out of the play fast, a weaker Kithkin might have to be sacrificed to take big attacks at the beginning of the game while the player stacks up his mana pool. So here's some of the combos in the deck.
ENDLESS HORIZON WITH ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
Endless Horizon removes ALL plains from the library and you may draw one card naturally from your library with an addition of extra draw from your new Plains pile. This helps in two ways, one, the possibility of you getting multiple draws of mana again and again when you need none is lessened to pure zero. Second, if you have Kithkin Zephyrnaut in play, your chances of drawing kinship is higher (Zephyrnaut can turn into a flying 4/4 with vigilance for every succesful kinship so its a suprise hit for the enemy for it to actually take off and deal some damage). Third, while Kithkin does not cost much mana, your chance of winning a clash fight is higher now that your risk not of drawing a plain card unlike your opponent. And fourth (and best of all), while you are able to get to put one mana into your mana pool every turn, you're bound to have alot of mana as long as you can keep the game going. That's when the game gets interesting. Use your Armored Ascension on any Kithkin card in play and you're bound to get a massive flyer popping out all of a sudden on your side. In fact, the biggest flyer i was able to summon back on a tournament using armored ascension was a flying Knight of Meadowgran 14/13 (oh yeah, with Lifelink).. just give it a swing and you're most probably win the game if you have lowered the opponent life by 6 or so. I found out that players have the tendency to think 10 life or below to only be the dangerous zone. So if you can ambush a player with 12 life with a 14/13 flyer, there's nothing the player can do but to accept defeat. Oh yeah, i found out that Militia's pride work well with Endless Horizon. Commence an attack and spam your mana four a big amount of soldier tokens to come out at the same time and attack. Of course, the tokens are mere 1/1 kithkins but if you have wizened cenns already in play, every tokens are at least a 2/2 creature and that will still be hard hits. Some swings are normally bound to be unblocked due to too many creatures attacking at one time.
ATTACK OF THE MIRRORWEAVE CLONES
Ah, yes... who could have forgot the pro tour tourney winning Mirrorweave card. First, commence and attack with alot of creatures. Yep, swarm over your opponent like it's the fourth of July XD of course, due to the small size of Kithkins and their small attacks, your opponent wont have a problem blocking all of them. But wait, drop a Mirrorweave and let all your cards be the copy of the strongest creature in the battlefield. If both sides have none, maybe you can copy a small 2/2 Wizened Cenn too. Why? Imagine you transform your whole battalion into Wizened Cenns and every Wizened Cenn give an additional 1/1 to every other Wizened Cenns. That's a massive sudden power-up. Now, the only card to fear of is "Counter Target Spell" card that can cancel off the effect of Mirrorweave. Well, imagine you commenced an all out attack and your Mirrorweave got knocked back, your side is defenseless on the next turn (which is bad) but it could be a good bait for your next turn. "How many more turn do you have if your side is already left for an open fire?" Yes, the game still can continue. But make sure you have a Holy Day card on standby before you use a Mirrorweave. With your side sitting duck and defenseless, quick! Start wailing and act like a worm in alcohol! Twist and tug your hair in distress as a sign that you're losing on the next turn! Well, for amateur opponents, they will most probably take the bait and swing all out to finsih the game on this turn and he didnt expect you to still be able to defend with a Holy Day (he used the "Counter Target Spell" last turn so he might not have any this time around), leaving HIS side defenseless on the next turn instead. For pro players, he might not take the bait and he wont swing all-out. Well, you still can defend with a Holy Day and save your ass (only you wont have a sitting duck opponent on the next turn). But if you have not any Holy Day card in your hand, this might actually save your ass for one more turn. Cheating play, but, hey, we're at war right?
TRIO, HOLD!!! **puts up shield Spartan Style**
This strategy might work with mass token producers like elves or merfolks. There might be time when your opponent are token generator and i mean, really mean token generator. If you lose a round being overwhelmed by soldiers and tokens on your last fight, this is the call for Thoughtweft Trio and Heart of LIght from the sideboard into play. It's a slow strategy but if you hit it right, it works and you may put up ultimate defense line for your army. Pair up a Thoughtweft Trio that can block ANY number of creatures with a Heart of Light enchantment that can prevent all damage that would be dealt to the creature. So in other words, your defense is up. No matter how many attackers there are, Thoughtweft Trio can block them easy and still remain alive for the next defense (the only downside is that the enchantment will cause THoughtweft Trio to lose its ability to attack as well. Therefore, you sacrifice and offense for a major defense. Worth the sacrifice? You do the maths). Remember though, a spell can still remove your Thoughtweft Trio by surprise so keep a Redeem the Lost in standby in case your face removal cards by surprise.. Btw, Thoughtweft Trio works well with Armored Ascension too. Imagine a big flyer with vigilance and first strike that can block any number of creatures. That's a pain.
As a closing statement:

Malay movie worth mentioning + The good and villainy of man
Delaqroux Inc Review!!
There were always these situations when me and a bunch of Non-Malay friends (Lucille, specially made for you: "a bunch of Non-Malay friends AND i"...pfft.. grammar nazi...) will go to block 4's cafe for dinner, order our food and while sitting down, waiting or eating, there will be a Malay movie shown on the TV. At that very moment, you can observe how alot other Malay occupants were glued to the TV screen while Adnin, will try to pretend that he know nothing of the show on TV and act as if he's a Japanese and does not understand Malay. Yes, ppl, malay movies are a DISGRACE!! I admit, there are some nice ones with message inside. I am highly entertained by Adflin Shauki's "BULI" and was moved by "Cinta Si Penggali Kubur" & "Cinta Isteri Penggali Kubur" (The other movie was the sequel of the first movie. The sequel being the best.. the ending with the grave digger living in his own world with his imaginary happy family was super sad.. I LOVE IT!! XD) But in any case, try put all the crappy show on one side of a weight and the nice on the other; how far tilted on the crappy side will the weight answers? I mean seriously, the award winning "Jangan Pandang Belakang" was a piece of sh!t of a horrorshow, and i'm sick of all sitcoms squeezing the last bits of popularity within Saiful Apek. The scripts are cheesy, the actors act like 8th graders, the storyline are repetitive and the awards should NOT be given to anyone at all. Rosyam (emo)Noor, i effing hate you, your role and your movies!! DX I do hate Indonesian shows which are pure exaggaration but heck, at least they made effort to exaggarate. Malay shows are the lamest!!
Huff.. huf.. But then again, today, i saw this one malay show that nearly make it to my "Malay movie worth mentioning list".. Wait... what's the title again?
Umm.. i'll get to that later. But in any case, the show's script and acting are still... well... bad. But the director made an effort with the message encrypted within the storyline. The story focuses on this family living in KL. The family was a loving one and they lived happily consisting of a loving mom, a dad that balances his work and his responsibility with his family, and a daughter, Belinda, who's doing fine pursuing her dream career of being a TV celebrity with the endless support of her parents. Oh yeah, there were even a few scenes of the daughter with her boyfriend, a loving and caring guy who was already like a member of the family as well. So where's the conflict? Well, the family has a bad side to it. The family, though muslim in name, is strayed from the religion's path. The dad's a drunkard, the daughter kinda slutty and the mom.. well.. not much was portrayed by the mom. So still sounding typical? Yep, i thought so too. But then, the family adopted an extra member of the family who was the father's, step-sister's son and he is a religious guy who never fails in his devotion for God.
At this point, a typical malay drama will go like; this religious guy will reveal the bad side of the family and though being discriminated at first, manages to change the family from the inside, and finally everyone lives happily ever after. Well, i thought of that too at first but no, there's a twist. The problem with the religious adopted son was that he's a douche. Of course he's pious and he's staying temporarily at a house of a not-so-pious family, but he looks down at the family as being "future occupants of hell". He turns his face away, he acted like an asshole and he do nothing but talk of his accusation regarding all the sins done in the house (though he seen none of them). What's more, he's not punctual, unfriendly, selfish, ungrateful, never keeps a promise and procastinate everything at work (there's a part where he was caught sleeping at work and his reason was that he woke up at night for prayers and the employer was reluctant to be mad at him coz of this reason). Oh yeah, in addition to that he smokes after every prayers, spits in public and being extremely judgemental of people around him (hmmmm.. sounds oh-so familiar dont you think). But, he's not all that bad, he never misses a prayer, he's religiously intellectual and he's a good religious debater.
So here we have now, a loving non-pious family and a pious douchebag..
The story proceeds revealing more and more darkside of both sides. The dad was revealed to be such a heavy drunkard, bringing a drunk friend back home who nearly raped his wife while he was sleeping. The daughter was being over obsessed with being popular that she is actually mixing around with the wrong people and the mom, while neutral, is getting the hot feet of being labeled as "future occupants of hell" that she nearly turned her back against her own family just so that she could go to heaven (so in other words, her being way too loving for her own good, started getting influenced by the religious guy's ways.. there's a saying by that douche that those who are 'selected' to be in heaven must despise the people who are not and the mom nearly fell for it). And on a strange twist of fate, the daughter who had to take her scoop of kampung life had to go to the religious guy's village and thus meeting the pious guy's pious family and soon we were revealed with the darkside of the pious guy as well. It turned out that the pious guy's dad is a religious extremist (despise wrong-doers, believes that women are to be looked down as merely servants for the husbands, and hates everything that moves in his so-called unreligious paths). So there, you go.
The interesting aspect of the show is how the loving family was portrayed as the 'villains' at first as they discriminated the pious guy. Regardless, when the pious douchebag's actual characteristic came gradually clearer and clearer into the picture, we will see the pious guy as being just as villainous himself. Finally, at the point where the daughter was mistreated by the pious guy's extremist father, we will feel sorry for our first 'villain' and the part that the pious guy actually sides with the daughter when she was arguing with the dad, we will see the 'villain' as being the lifesaver this time around. So throughout the entire movie, the audience will kept in a state where the good and the bad arent foretold but its up for the audience to interpret themselves.
In normal day situations, society are often bound with the foundation that to be pious is to be the good side. But in how i experience it myself, you dont have to be religious to be a good person as long as you love and make others happy. So where do light side actually resides in this modern world? Well, in my own personal opinion, i still agree with my believe that "religions exist to unite human beings, but human beings' beliefs seperates one another". Religion can no longer be a measuring value to determine how good or bad the person is. Instead, its how the individual lives her/his life and what he believes in living that determines everything. I may have no right to actually say this but i have the right to state my personal stand in my life: i may not be religious nor pious, and what i do may not be parallel with His ways entirely. But everything i do is still in His and His messengers' purpose, solely in wishing for the the shattering world to be whole again.

Grace Lee vs The Undead
Delaqroux Inc Updates.
And yep, i'm out of cool stories at the moment so there's nothing much of an update at the moment. So, i found myself browsing thru people's profile and pictures on facebook and friendster. Coincidentally, i was browsing thru Grace Lee's (never-seem-to-be-ever-updated) friendster's profile and one of her pictures caught my eye. It was her posing in her kiddy-looking Elmo T-shirt (the one that i always kutuk :p) and Camo pants. Somehow, my art sense these days are always venturing for an ironic masterpiece, something like cutesy with a warzone-ish theme, so yeah.. Grace's (kononnya) innocent smile, Elmo on her T-shirt and camo army pants.. maybe with some arms... Not bad of an idea no? And and i like zombie themed artworks of late maybe that'll be good twist as well (NOTE: Yes, i is sicketh, i'm aware XD)
So yep... i ended up coming up with this.
Left: The artwork (duh!!) Right: The original picture of Grace with her friend. lolz. Sorry for... uh... 'borrowing' the pic.. but thanks alot for the inspiration, Grace! =p
Oh yeah, btw, I herby officially declare that

OMG, like, I updated my blog, y'know!
Delaqroux Inc, like, updated or whateva...
And i'm like gonna sooooo tell you what happened today by the mall.. So, there i was like, walking around, window shopping and stuff and i came across something, like, totally eew..
There were, like, a bunch of malay ladies not far from me and they were, like, talking and talking while doing their shopping and stuff. So i was like, whatever but they were talking, like, waaaay too loud that my eavesdrop ear go, like, totally in action.
Other than making like, a huge chaos over what they're shoppin' they were like talking the way i'm talking now, y'know. I mean, first thing first, i dont give a whatever on how they talk but they were talking with, like, totally wrong grammar and OMG, someone sounded super F-A-K-E-Y... Ohmigosh..
Ohmigosh, like, i'm putting more spacing between my paragraphs and that's like totally uncool. Oh well, whatever! *giggles*. Anyways, dont you just hated when people tryna talk and sound cool when they're like totally attention-grabber. Hello! Newsflash! Wanna know what's starts with L and rhymes with "elmo"? Like, LAME-O!! FYI, girls these days are like, so, posers and they thought it's like totally cool. Fyi, no, it doesnt when your grammar suck big time and the way how you jiggle your body and hand with all those gestures and stuff like a big Britney wannabe? Gross!
I mean, i dont mean to be, like, sarcasstic or grammar nazi-ing or sumthin' but oh, puh-lease. Learn how to talk before you start acting big shot, baby. There's like, totally zippo problemo with tryna being cool (or cute, whatever they intend to) but trying like, desperately too be cute, aint cool. Please, gals, just tryna be yourselves, m'kay. Grabbing attention by how lame your act up together equals to; totally un-awesome...
So, i'm like walking around some more and like, i met a group of guys playing with MAGIC! OH-MY-GOD! And i'm like soooo dying out of not-playing-Magic syndrome that i was like, go back home just to grab my Magic Deck. But about that, i think imma update it up on, like, different post m'kay. Dont want things to clog up one blogpost and that is like, totally not cool..

Two Missed Calls... Episode 3
PREVIOUSLY ON TWO MISSED CALLS
So we went back to Digital Mall and found out that the guy who sold her the previous phone was obviously an Ah Long. Whatever he said are just lies and trust me, with a face like that, i'm not buying it. Finally Adelynn settled with another phone deal which requires her to trade in that Nokia 7100 for a Samsung L760 and lucky for us, we got a good deal at this one stall. So all that is well will end well... but what do they say for those that doesnt start that well?
AND NOW ON TWO MISSED CALLS EPISODE 3
We boarded the train, still talking all about phone that we just got for a good deal. But then i realized something. Well, actually two things but both sums up to the same conclusion; today is about to turn from a really adventurous day to a really ironic day (at least for me). Guess what? I lost my cellphone back that place that sells phones! (Get it? :p) Yeah, my phone is missing from my pocket. I seriously went like, "shit! shit! shit!" and start searching my entire body for my phone and no, it was nowhere to be found. I immediately told Adelynn to go back without me while i double back to Digital Mall to find back my phone in case i lost it. I got down at Taman Jaya Station and while waiting for the next train, i got the help of a lady to help me to try calling my phone. If the phone rings and someone picks it up, it must mean that i left it back at the stall in Digital Mall. But alas, there was no call tone. My phone had already been turned off, meaning that someone must have took it for her/himself. I told the lady that i might have dropped it in the LRT station before when i was sitting down. But she doubt that as i would have realized the sound of the phone dropping- it might have been stolen when i didnt realize it. And thus, chances of me being able to find my phone just dropped to total nil.
But then i still ended up boarding the train back to Asia Jaya. I mean, it is still possible that it dropped while i was walking and the phone landed in the grass or a pile of sand to not make any sound right? And it is also possible that the phone dropped and the battery came out as usual so that it seemed like the phone was off, right? Yeah, i know the possibilities for these circumstances are very very low but i can just give it a shot of tracing it back all the way to Digital Mall. So i did aaaaaaand... it took me back to Digital Mall but there was still no trace of my phone. I even asked James (the phone stall guy) if i ever left my phone back at his shop as that was the last time i remember that i took out my phone. He said he didnt and obviously he would call me back immediately when i left the stall while my phone is still there right? So yep, officially, my phone is gone....
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
When things turned out really really sour, even the bravest of all men will turn back to one single individual. yep, i decided to call my mom. That was when i realized the second irony, i'm the only one in the whole friggin place that sells handphones to still be looking for a public phone to make a phone call. And i noticed something... well.. funny as well. I cant find any public phone so i resorted to ask one of the phone selling guys there on where are all the public phones at. Turned out the guy stared at me with really confused eyes and asked me back, "what's a public phone?" DUDE! I DONT MEAN TO BE CULTURALLY LAGGING HERE BUT I LOST MY HANDPHONE!!! I NEED A FRIGGIN OLD PUBLIC PHONE TO MAKE A CALL!! I told him briefly how a public phone looks like and how it can be used (In case, of ppl who are of the same case out there, public phone's are similar to public phone booth, minus the booth and you put in coins inside to make a goddamn phone call). After awhile, the guy was like "Aaaah.. that public phone. lmao. i thot u were asking for a handphone brand. rflao. omgwtfbbq!!!111" Ladies and gentlemen, if i have a chainsaw with me that time, there would have been blood.
ANyways, i found myself sitting down at one of the phone stores, looking at all those display phones gleaming in the mall's lightings. The saleslady approached me and i found myself pouring everything out on her that i lost a phone right after i helped my friend to get a phone for her mom. Funnily, we ended talking for nearly an hour til she finishes her shift. Even funnier, she seemed to forget entirely that she is there to sell phones and i am obviously a potential customer (someone who just lost a phone, remember?). In fact, she never did any promoting to sell phones to me, she just said she's sorry for my lost phone and listened on to all my emo-ness. She even told me that she, too, lost her phone once and she was stranded in a bus stop for 3 hours before her parents arrive to fetch her. lolz. well, that made me feel better.. yep, misery attracts company and yeah, now that i'm feeling myself again, time to be optimistic and face the problem instead of whining bout it!
The case here is that i lost my phone and i'm in a place where people sells phones. What should i actually be doing? Like Timon from Lion King said; "when the whole world turn its back on you, bad things happen and you can do nothing bout it right? WRONG! When the whole world turns its back on you, you turn your back on the world!" So what did i do? I friggin need a phone now and a phone i what i'm gonna get! Yeah, immediately, i purchased a NEW PHONE right out of all my savings! Hell yeah, baby! A new phone right on da dot!! HAH! Take that, world! Nothing can bring me down. Not even me being phoneless coz imma gonna get a new one rightaway baby!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! So i got myself a **CENSORED** phone for RM580 and it was extremely a good deal. I feel even better now, in fact! So i went back to the shop where the saleslady were at, told one of the salesguy to tell the lady tomorrow that i got back my phone and thanks for listening to my problem and i went straight to a prepaid shop. I got a new phone but i still need a simcard. And a simcard is what i'm gonna get! Hello, new number, goodbye 016-6846769.... But wait... i did raked out all my money for the new phone. How much do i have left in my wallet? ...........just..... RM.... 3............ Oh well, at least i gots me a new phone!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLZ!!! (Quotation of the month: My phone is kickass... i just dont have any simcard inside... lolz)
So, yep, maybe all that is well will end well after all (though things may still occasionally be a lil hairy in between). I found out later the following day that Adelynn's mom was happy for the new phone, Adelynn, herself, was very happy for that and i am super happy for her definitely! And yep, i got myself a new phone. It may have taken some equivalent trading for my new phone;s case as well as for Adelynn's phone for her mom but hey, it wasnt all that bad. But most importantly, i helped a friend who really means alot to me for the past few years and i'm really glad for that. Adelynn, if you're reading thsi; i am seriously happy to help you that time regarding your mom's new phone and i'm seriously more than happy that we are friends too =D
Not bad for a closing of 2008 no? =)
P/S: after that failed plan to get a new simcard, i settled to reactivating my old DiGi number. Thus, i'm still contactable by my old DiGi number... only that i may need all your phone numbers once again so post them up to me okay =D

Two Missed Calls... EPISODE 2
PREVIOUSLY ON TWO MISSED CALLS
Adelynn and I ventured all the way to Digital Mall to get a phone for Adelynn's mom. The requirement wasnt that high but something crucial; it has to be an original format phone. We managed to get ourselves a deal with a Nokia 7100 Supernova phone for RM500. Yeah, we thought the phone was okay (1.3 MP, cool design, Slide type, MP3 playable etc.) and we were more than happy. But we missed the first call. The phone was far from okay and that made us far from being happy. Lacking of a memory card slot, the phone's internal memory was a mere 5MB! So we thought of coming back to Digital Mall on the next day and we did. The problem we're facing now is that i, who volunteered to do the talking is now standing just a a metre away from the shop owner, whom i just realized is a crossover between the Hulk and an Ah Long.
NOW, ON TWO MISSED CALLS EPISODE TWO
Somehow, the guy looked at me with his unsymmetrical pair of eyes and that was scary. Then again, he agreed for the change. For some reason, he didnt even looked surprised to see us. It is as if he know that we'll be coming. It's either that or he knew that he had sold us a really crappy phone and its a miracle if we're not showing up and demanding a change of model. So he agreed immediately. Hmm.. So that wasnt so hard.
Yeah, it was too easy to be true
The guy took out several models of Nokia original format phones and this time, all of them have higher specs and most importantly, memory card sluts.. eh, i mean, slots. But for some mysterious Ah Long-styled reason, every phone that he laid out in front of us seemed to be more expensive than ystday. I remember a 7610 model he showed me ystday and he claimed that it was Rm900. This time, its more expensive by a hundred bucks plus. I insisted that i want to stick with my (actually, Adelynn's) budget of RM700 to spare and he said he cant get nothing of that sort. Dude! Since when has phones evolved so much that we cant get any phones at Rm700 bucks?? Looking very reluctant, he finally resided to promote us a Sony Ericsson W580 phone which costed around 780. Well, its a lil off budget but the problem is, it's an AP (aka Pirated) format! I asked for an original format and he claimed that the orginal format will cost RM980. Seriously, when the fuck has phone get way off expensive? Adelynn was hesitant to get a pirated version of the phone although it is much cheaper and that is when the Ah Long guy started story telling; he claimed that the phone is not AP- it's CSL (what?). In other words, it's Malaysian original - its still of original format only its not Sony Ericsson orginal, it's CSL original (seriously, WTF??) So yeah, i wager that all of you would ask the same question i did, "what is that supposed to mean?" and this was the guy's explanation. Take out your thinking hats and notebooks, this will be messy.
So, there's AP which are super cheap format phones whereby the warranty of the phone is only valid at the place of purchase. In other words, even though the phone still have its warranty, maintenance in other shops other than the one you bought that phone from will be charging you normally. So far so good? And then there's CSL. They're not pirated, they're CSL original- otherwise, also known as Malaysian original. SO this CSL format phones are not AP phones though an authorized Sony Ericsson outlet will claim it as AP. But CSL wont. In fact, the validity of the provided warranty will be in place as long as you deal with any CSL outlets nationwide, not just from the store you bought the phone from. And finally, here comes the expensive original format phones. These phones are authorized by Sony Ericsson phone an the warranty is valid at all Sony Ericsson branches nationwide. Therefore, getting a CSL 'original' means buying an 'original' phone only its not authorized by the original producer of the phone. Heh.. Sounds like a chinese DVD-selling guy telling you that the CD his selling is not pirated but an Original DVD copy... =___=
So, i told him that we need to think it over and he just heaved and let us leave, making a really pissed face. So i asked Adelynn to think it over and Adelynn decided to walk around while she thinks. And in the meantime, i passed by another phone shop and me, being someone who's always suspicious of people around me, started asking around how much would they be charging for a Nokia 7610 and SE W5810. Shockingly (well.. not really as i expected the Ah Long guy to be lying all along), the price we could get for NOkia 7610 is just RM780 and SE W5810 is RM750 and they're both original formats! By that time, i was friggin pissed with that Ah Long guy and Adelynn was super upset. No matter what choice we will make, we still have to deal with the Ah Long guy as we wanted a full refund of that crappy phone we;re having now and the other shops would obviously only accept trade-ins. And for that crappy Nokia 7100 we're having now, everyone claims that they would just sell the phone for around 400 bucks. We were definitely being cheated in the first place for buying that piece of junk for RM500! And no matter how hard we beg, the highest price they can give us for that phone's trade-in price is just RM280. In other words, either ways, Adelynn will still suffer the loss. Deal with the Ah Long store and she will just run slightly over her budget but the new phone will be of AP format (or CSL original or whatever). Deal with the other store and she will run waaaay off budget but she will get an original phone in exchange. So, finally, she submitted to dealing with the Ah Long store and i am seriously NOT pleased..
And so she did. She was about to submit with the idea that CSL can still be considered original but i know that she's just convincing herself. And the Ah Long guy? Well, he was looking super friggin happy that we will have to submit to his AP and Original shit as well as his price. Stupid Ah Long guy... but wait!
**DELAQROUX RAGE MODE INITIATED! LIMITER RELEASED!!!**
I told Adelynn to hold on with any decisions and i went off on my own. So i started asking every friggin single shop around there regarding this AP, CSL original and Original format crap. And not just that; i called Alvin Heng and asked them of what they know. And guess what? The CSL shit is just another AP. Only difference it holds compared to other AP is that CSL is a large scale pirating company so they have enough money to support pirating branches nationwide while smaller AP pirating company have only few branches. So the Ah Long guy is BS-ing all over! Well, fair readers, when i arrived back at the Ah Long's store, Adelynn has totally surrendered to the CSL story. I'm not sure if the guy had her convinced or its just her lying to herself but regardless, she doesnt seem happy at all but she was about ready to take her wallets out and make the purchase. What should i do then? Tell her the actual story? That would just complicate things up for Adelynn as we have to find out another way all over again to get this issue settled. Just keep the truth to myself and the issue is settled, only Adelynn might walk away not feeling happy even for the slightest bit - and i definitely wont want her to be unhappy. Moral decisions, ladies and gentlemen, dont you just hate making one?
Finally, i dragged Adelynn away from the shop and told her everything; the truth about the lies. Yeah, she was even more upset that now, we obviously can no longer trust the Ah Long shop, meaning that Adelynn's budget might run far away off track. We cant get a refund of that phone and we have to trade it in for very small cashback. No shit... We went back to the other store and Adelynn just resided to going off budget for another phone... way off budget. Its a Samsung L760 with 2 Megapixel, slide design and of course, a memory card slot but it costed RM630. The shop would only accept the trade in for that piece of junk of a phone for only RM300 and that was of his highest sympathy but he cant go any higher with the trade in price, neither with the new phone's. So in total, Adelynn will have to go RM130 off her original budget and considering the fact that the first phone was bought for naught, that just breaks her down. Sigh... Hence, she went to withdraw the extra cash and i just let her be alone for awhile. I was thinking that everything started out with such a good intention , how did things get effed up like this? And the fact that she got cheated yesterday and nearly did once again by the same guy today? Damn... While waiting, i looked around and saw a small Samsung store under the staircase. It was small than any stalls there and the two attendant dont even look trustworthy. But then again i dont want Adelynn to be unhappy and i told her ystday to not give up if she's pursuing something.. well... in this pursuit of Adelynn's happyness, Darkie, you have nothing else to lose. Let's give it one last shot.
So i walked over to the shop and talked with the two guys...
Well, lets just keep what we talked about classified for now ok?
Shall all that begins with a well intention, bring an end of well results, ladies and gentlemen?
After the long discussion, i approached Adelynn and told her the story that the two guys over at the small Samsung stall are willing to sell the same Samsung L760 original model with only... surprise... RM550 and they're also willing to pay the price for the trade in of that Nokia 7100 for RM320!!!!!!!! So, Adelynn will just have to over the budget of a mere 30 Ringgit!!! w00000t!!! So yes, ladies and gentlemen, though i wasnt able to reach total happy ending but at least this is far better than any of the two deals we nearly make. Yeah, Adelynn was happy and i am super glad for that =) Oh yeah, as a side note, the stall was actually a mini outlet of the other shop earlier on (the one where we nearly agreed with a Samsung L760 for RM630) but, yep, the guy attending the stall is totally on our side now. Lolz. EVen found out that his name is James and yep, thanks a million, James! XD
Thus, we headed back and yep, Adelynn was indeed really happy. Its all karma i guess. She had a good intention for buying the phone and going all out to make sure she can give the best one for her mom, and she did get a good return; good phone, high specs and good price... Thank heavens for her. Yeah, i did said karma now didnt I? It was a good karma on her definitely but then again, guess its time for me to pay mine.. a bad one of mine, in fact. I didnt expect it to be that soon but i guess its time for me to miss the second call.. my call...

Two missed calls... EPISODE 1
Delaqroux Inc Update!
Remember my last post about me predicting a very bad week of boredom and loneliness ahead?Well, i was partially right. For one thing, the week was definitely not filled with boredom and loneliness; which is good. For another matter, it was a much worse week than i predicted; which is not good. So here how it started out:
The story began when i was expecting that i wont be going out with Adelynn for the rest of the week for she has some matters to attend in UM. And thus, poor lil Adnin isolates himself in his room with no friends, no internet connection and no credit. Alas, i received a phone call from Adelynn and she asked me to take her to DigiMall (Short for Digital Mall.. duh??). I did remember a few nights ago when she asked me where can she get free electronics and i gave her the idea of visiting DigiMall instead of Low Yatt as stuff in DigiMall may be much much cheaper. So yeah, Adelynn was planning to get a phone for her mom so off we went for the survey. Everything started okay and Adelynn was interested with this one deal at one of the phone stalls. Its a Nokia 7100 Supernova (I still dont get if that Supernova was even necessary). Her budget was around RM700 and the phone was of Slide type, was RM500, 1.3 Megapixel and, i gotta admit, a pretty cool design. I suggested a Sony Ericsson phone for Adelynn but somehow the only stock they have of Sony Ericsson phones are just AP format (aka pirated) and Adelynn claimed that her mom never trust pirates (I wonder if her mom ever met Cap'n Jack Sparrow?). So Adelynn agreed to purchase the Nokia phone as it was original and paid RM500 for it. Not too bad a deal eh?
If there's one thing in the whole telecommunication world that i dont trust is either Maxis and/or Nokia. And yeah, ladies and gentlemen, Nokia is a very sneaky one, sir. Of course, the phone was of original format, the camera was acceptable for 1.3 Megapixels, the speaker was loud and clear butif there's one aspect that needs to be considered with such an agreeable specs for a telephone is the space to contained everything within. Yeah, i looked around the phone and realized something, "where's the memory card slot?" Yep, the friggin phone have none! And, get this; the phone's internal memory was just a mere 5MB?? Seriously, even my old trusty (and yeah, stolen) K700i produced in the year 1999 was built with 41MB and this Nokia 7100 super-effing-nova was made in the year 2008!! Talk about Nokia building a different casing for their older models and selling them for extra prices. So, for all those Nokia users out there; be warned. Get Samsung, get Sony or get Motorola. EVen an Alcatel phone works better than Nokia. If you're to say that Nokia's phone is durable (Nokia 3315 is always popular for still be functioning regardless of how many times it was dropped on the floor) well, my counter for that; you do need a durable phone if your phone is bound to be thrown around like a piece of sh!t it is. I admit; i am being one-sided here- I JUST HATE NOKIA AND ONLY NOKIA.
Back to the story, Adelynn was super upset but she try to hide it over dinner (and I am still pissed with Nokia). Of course, it was our mistake in a way to not check the phone properly but i assumed that Nokia cant be that much of a douche to charge RM500 for 5MB phone. Even the Nokia 'Sabun' was RM400 and it has a memory card slot. Hence, dearest Nokia believers out there; do the thinking for yourself. However, i managed to convince Adelynn to postpone giving the phone to her mom a lil bit and we shall go back to the DigiMall the following day to change the phone to a different model. Of course, it is 50-50 shot. I mean, goods sold may not be refundable and even if they can, i doubt the shop keeper wouldnt trick us to pay extra. I mean, we did asked for the Nokia 7100's specifications and the all the shop owner said was "good.. good... good...". He didnt mention anything about lack of memory. And yeah, he added a convincing statement that "this phone's a new model. Selling quite a lot oso". Heh, ya right. But to make things worse; it was only then that i was able to recall how the owner of the phone stall looked; he's huge, spiky hair, have a scar on his right forearm, have a slightly damaged left eye (yeah, i dunno if he's just wearing contacts but i could swear that his left and right eyes didnt look identical) and talk with such an Ah Long-ish accent and yeah, he looks like an Ah Long himself as well. Adelynn was sure that the guy does not tolerate such demands for a change of model or whatever. I looked at Adelynn with my most convincing face, swallowed my fear and said, "come on la. what is there to lose?"

So much for a good week... =3=
Delaqroux Inc Updates!
And i'm in a pickle. Translation in modern jargon: I'm in a dipshit '___'
Okay, so here's what happened. I'm again, back in IPBA. So here's the original plan. I do intend to go back IPBA to terminate my maxis broadband account in KLCC. Basically the whole process of termination can be done in just few hours but i intended to stay for a lil while as i heard that Shogi is still in IPBA because of his unimates visa problem, Adelynn will be back to IPBA as she needed to go to PCFair for a new laptop, Adam and Preena will be back to IPBA for a MARJON meeting . So i thought its like a mini reunion of people XD
So here was my plan; come back to IPBA on Saturday. Shogi and Adelynn will be out for the PC Fair but i still have the maxis modem unterminated yet so i will have all the net for myself =D. On the following day, i will go to KLCC early morning and terminate the account. Adelynn will have some Buddhist stuff that day and i wont be able to be online anymore but Adam and Alex will be arriving back to KL so maybe we can lepak in Manawerx or ComicMart. On Monday, Adam and Preena will be settling the MARJON stuff for the whole day and i still cant go online, so maybe i can lepak with Adelynn and Shogi instead. On Tuesday, preferably no one will be busy with anything so we ALL can go lepak somewhere (like Ming Tien for instance XD).
Everything was devised and i thought it will be a good week of lepaking in KL.
Well, it didnt.
Apparently, Adam, Alex nor Preena will be coming back to IPBA as their meeting is postponed up until next year. Shogi settled his stuff already and so does Adelynn. Shogi will be going back to Seremban tomorrow as it seems like there's very miniscular sign of us going to lepak altogether. Adelynn, however, is not sure when she will be going back yet (she just say that if she's free then we lepak). So technically my stay will only be to lepak with Adelynn and that is not even certain yet. And what's worse, regardless of what; i still have to terminate my maxis 2mro in other words or i will get charge an extra 70 bucks. In other words, i'll be alone without any net connection nor ppl around for the whole day. And the day after that (the day that i'm supposed to be lepaking with Shogi and Adelynn while Adam and Preena settle their MARJON meeting), well, there's no more Shogi and i'm not sure yet if Adelynn would even be free or staying at all. Yeah, i can just run back to Selayang after i terminate the account 2mro but what if Adelynn actually do want to go out and lepak the day after or that very same night? Ngaaa... I do want to lepak with her oso! I tried asking Adelynn to be sure whether if she wants to stay after 2mro but you know how hard it is to get a reply from Adelynn if you're not face to face with her =3=. And... oh yeah, did i mention that my phone credit will expire by 2mro?
So what am i to do la now!!!!???

Fly Me to the Moon
Delaqroux Inc Updates on "Fly Me to the Moon"...
*sigh*... Isnt the song just gorgeous? I just watched over a scene of "Down with Love" yesterday and apparently, the song was used for one of the love scene between the couple in love. For the first time for me, the song was carried out in a duet and it simply has that lovely reminiscing feel to it. The tune is just classical, the singers' voice are just angelic and the lyrics are simply breath-taking (it's not normal for me to use the term "breath-taking" but i do use it occasionally for something that is really really undescribable). Anyways, checking on the net, the song was remade by various artistes and the latest seems to be by Utada Hikaru. I love her version the most but Frank Sinatra's remake was just as beautiful as well. Well, maybe when i'm in love again (hopefully any time soon :p), I'll come up with my own version of "Fly Me to the Moon". I mean, there's simply no reason to not fall in love and not to fall in love with that song at the same time...
(Utada Hikaru's Opening Lyrics)
Poets often use many words
To say a simple thing
It takes thought and time and rhyme
To make a poem singing
With music and words I've been flying
For you I have written a song
To be sure that you'll know what I'm saying
I'll translate as i go along...
(Original "Fly Me to the Moon" lyrics)
Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars,
and let me see what spring is like
on jupiter and mars,
In other words;
Hold my hand,
In other words;
Baby, kiss me...
Fill my heart with song
and let me sing forever more,
you are all i long for -
all i worship and adore,
In other words;
please be true,
In other words;
i love you...

Sapienphobia?
Delaqroux Inc Updates
Just a few weeks back, all of us had gone off to another trip to Melaka. On the last night of our stay, Adam and Sharmyn fell sick for some unknown reason so they just stayed back in the inn while me, Amy and Vimal went out lepaking around. We got seperated in awhile when i sent Adam back to the inn after dinner. We were supposed to meet up in Dataran Pahlawan and 'coincidentally' Amy and Vimal will be meeting up with Daniel and he is supposed to send them back to the inn. Me, not exactly favouring Daniel's company and still having that mood to stay outside, choose to stay out a lil while longer while they went off with Daniel. When it was around 12am, i called Amy to find out if they're back to the inn yet (I didnt have the keys with me and i dont feel like waking up Adam or Sharmyn to come down and unlock the door). Turned out that Amy, Daniel and Vimal were off to some mamak place sumwhere and they will be back quite late. So i figured its time to go for some solo adventure touring around Melaka. So there was I, out around the empty midnight streets of Melaka all the way til morning comes all by myself.
So, that bring us to the issue here. Within my entire 'adventure' i walked off back from Dataran Pahlawan to Jonker street (by that time, all the stalls and stores were closing) and i lepak there for awhile. I didnt really feel comfortable with the facts that there are rowdy and drunk looking people running around the place. So i ventured off back to a McD outlet near Dataran Pahlwan as i was feeling for a midnight snack. McD was crowded with people, mostly with teenagers who suggestively might not like the idea of sleeping so early back at home. I had my meal and i walked out even when McD is such a merry place with music and free WiFi (i have my psp so i still can surf the net if i choose to spend the night there). I just dont feel like staying. Then i walked off around the park behind Taming Sari tower. I got myself on one of the benches and start staring aimlessly towards the sky. I kinda liked it there. During the day, the park was like the merriest place with kids running around and during the night, it's a romantic atmosphered dating place. Sure enough there was a couple not far from where i was sitting and they were enjoying the moment as well, neglecting my presence but at some point, they walked off away as a bunch of dudes decided to lepak sumwhere nearby and they were quite making alot of noise. I decided to walk off as well. So i thought i might as well walk along the Melaka Bridge overlooking Selat Melaka and the Eye of Melaka. However, i took the long detour around the A Famosa and all the museums. It has that creepy feeling when the places were all darked and knowing the fact that the place was a battlezone back then hinted that the place might be a lil haunted based on standard society's norm. Nonetheless, i took my time and walk leisurely. THere were nobody else there and i actually enjoyed the sightseeing. Soon, i reached the Melaka Bridge. I immediately doubled back as the Bridge was full of bikers parking by the sides and chatting along. I found myself walking alongside an unfinished high way. Obviously, there was no one there and it lead to the construction site by the Melaka river. As the place was supposed to be off-limits, it was empty, i ended up lying on one of the finished pathways right next to the river and had a good moment for myself back there all the way til i get a call from Amy that they;re back at the inn.
So, comparing the moments where i actually sat down and spend quite some time in one place and not in the other made me to establish a link between such actions. Why didnt i spend my time in some places but not on the other? I can just sit in Jonker street perhaps in one of the public pubs but i didnt. McD was a safe and sound place to spend the night until Amy returned back to the inn but i walked out after my meal. I can just stay in the nice park but i left when i got merrier company. I can just join along the bikers at Melaka Bridge and mind my own business while they do with theirs. Instead, i choose to go places where there's nobody else around. Hence, i found out that i dont enjoy the presence of other human beings around me. And when i think about it, while i was walking around i tend to look around the place to find out if there's any other human beings in the vicinity. As long as there's none, i will enjoy my leisure walk back at that place. And there were Vimal and Daniel both believing in the fact that Melaka streets are haunted as back in the history, lots of fightings and deaths occured almost everywhere. But then the fear of the supernatural never bothered me at all. I mean, i went to the Portugeise tomb and i actually enjoyed the cold breeze on top of the mountain at exactly 3am. I'm aware that going to tombs 3am at night might not be a fine idea but all i ever thought was; if there's such things as supernaturals roaming around, we're cool as long as i dont do something to disturb or piss them off (to tell you the truth, i got excited of the thought that i might make encounter at the tomb). They wont scare you if you dont make them to do so. But real living humans are different. Almost 90% victims of murder, rape or robbery has nothing to do with the ones commiting them. You never disturb them and yet, girls get jeered at or even raped and guys get mugged or beaten for the fun of it. So i have drawn a conclusion that all this while of me telling people to take care of themselves and one another, do not walk in a quiet street alone and only go to a place when you have friends around you; is all because that i fear humans. Humans are scarier than any other forms known to man. We neednt fear things that we cant see like ghosts or portugeist, neither do we need to be afraid of animals that will only harm you if they sense their safety is threaten- in fact, there's nothing for man to fear except man themselves (no, not fear themselves).
I found humans are scary. So i am suffering from... sapienphobia?

Delaqroux Inc 2008 Holidays Updates!
Delaqroux Inc 2008... wait.. i already mentioned that in the title..
In any case, i know that this blogpost came waaaay of course but i was promising to myself to promise my dearest fans out there a lil bit of touch on what I, your humble blogger of Delaqroux Inc, will answer your favourite question regarding what have I, your humble blogger of Delaqroux Inc, has been doing during the holidays so far. And yeah, as a little bit of side note; I was spending quite a long time in IPBA when everybody has long enrooted themselves to their comfy cushions at home. "What have i been doing in IPBA for so long?" Well, your answers lie within this blogpost. So, ladies and gentlemen, from SouthCarolina to Malaysia (wait.. what?), here comes Delaqroux Inc 2008 Holidaaaaaaaaaays Updaaaaaaaaaaaates!!!
NUMBER 001: TAKE YOUR TIME
For those who have been nothing but couch potatoes since last November should have known what "Take your time" stands for. For those who dont, well, it's the new catchline for OLDTOWN WHITE COFFEE (Yep, they just had their first advertistment on TV). Since the opening and discovery of Oldtown White Coffee outlet back in Bangsar South, I, Dark A. Delaqroux has officially declared it as one of my best lepak place in time of leisure. All you gotta do is just take a lil walk past the University Station from IPBA, find a nice comfy spot in Oldtown, and crash in with a glass of Ice Blended White Coffee (RM8.50- quite reasonable compared to Starbucks and CoffeeBean for something for a franchise's exclusive). Trust me. You'll get high on the white caffeine.
NUMBER 002: MAGIC THE GATHERING
Fine, fine.. I admit; i have joined the whole geek community of Magic the Gathering Trading Card Game (Shen-Ann, if you're reading this: who said you'll never see Magic Cards anymore the time you're in MacQuarie? :p) In any case, during the holidays, i have been spending quite some time in COMIC MART, Midvalley and MANAWERX, Millenium Square (Asia Jaya) with other Magic players (also called Gatherers) and trust me; if there's one thing beneficial about playing with a whole bunch of cards in a way that doesnt make much sense, is that; i've met a hell lots of nice people in just a short period of time (Adrian, Adrian, Elven Lady, Elven Lady's Boyfriend, Fahimi, Kenji, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Nurse, Ravellark Guy, Richard, Sheriff etc.). And because they're mostly into games and hobbies like these; i can tell that they're clean people- free from drugs, ciggarettes, social issues and they're all friendly people (you gotta be super humble when you're a n00b in Magic- so getting beaten shitless may feel slightly less painful) etc. Maybe the world would be a much better place if all guys learn how to love Magic then wrecking havoc all over the place.
NUMBER 003: REVISITING CITY OF OLDSKOOLNESS
If there's one thing that i look for when going for a long trips it's either cold high places, nice beaches, and hell lots of stops for food. In this case, MELAKA fills in the latter two requirements (Good enough for me). Since my last visit to Melaka back in... well... last June, i fell in love with the Jonker Street. Its in a heart of all the heritage sites, it's a home to almost all the food in Melaka and its home to one of the best duplicates of Petaling Street i have seen so far. And this year, my visit unfolds a fact that if you walk along the Melaka River (which also passes by Jonker Street), you'll end up with a kickass sunset view of Selat Melaka. So, here's all the highlights of Jonker Street in just one sentence. Daytime: Go sightseeing, lepak at Mahkota Parade or go hunting for nice food, Nightime: Go hunting for more nice food and walk around the happening Jonker Walk, PastMidnight: Go lepak by the river side, stroll around the empty streets of Melaka... or go hunt for nice food.
NUMBER 004: IT'S WINTER IN MALAYSIA?
Living in a place situated strategically close to the... uh... how do you say that in English again? Umm.. Garisan khatulistiwa, you might end up living your whole life without experiencing any cold sensation of winter. Of course, you may never get to feel the snow but feeling that maximum chill is still possible in GENTING HIGHLAND NIGHTWALK. Of course some of you will go like, "Cheri pa! Genting Highland where got cold lah, Joe". Well lemme correct your question. It should be; "Cheri pa! Genting Highland where got cold DURING THE DAY". Precisely, take my challenge, go to Genting highland, screw all the themeparks and indoor malls and friggin go lepak outdoors under the stars and in the cold furious winds from 12am to 6am till the sun comes out. Trust me; if you die of cold there... well... Cheri pa! So much for your Genting where got cold eh, Joe?
NUMBER 005: LIVE A HOBO'S LIFE IN ONE OF THE WORLD'S BEST AIRPORT
Due to a twist of misfortunate events, a particular Sarawakian missed his flight back to Miri (Read my previous blogpost "Lords of the KLIA: Fellowship of the Lost Sarawakian" for more in-depth report). So what do you, as friends do, pack up your bags of laptops and sweaters and live a night sleeping under the ceiling and on the cold frozen floors of KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT up til the crack of dawn. I mean, there's not much of entertainment it seems here (except for the free WiFi) and the food here are slightly more expensive, but the experience of sleeping in KLIA is... well.. not that bad. Sleeping in a public place can be fun if you're actually doing it with friends :p
NUMBER 006: IPBA NIGHTWALK @ IPBA GHOSTBUSTING (?)
I rather call it with IPBA Nightwalk coz seriously, there isnt much of a ghost busting that can be done in IPBA especially when you're just having a wooden katana, a couple of black old record CDs and a duel BB gun instead of a Proton Cannon. In any case, if Malaysia never really have Halloween celebrations, well, we make one! All you gotta do is just wear your weirdest compilation of ridiculous clothings, equip yourself with all the combination of things that just doesnt make sense, and go for a mini parade all around the dormitory and college compound with a camera recording each and every one of your pointless move exactly at 3am (3am is supposed to be the peek hours where all the devils come out at night- thus, maybe that's where the term IPBA GHOSTBUSTIN comes from). Anyways, the sheer pointlessness of it is just purely exhilirating. Oh yeah, just try not to be seen. Trust me; you dont want to be seen.
NUMBER 007: OF BANGSAR AND CURFEW
For unexplainable reasons, breaking curfew and going to bangsar seems to be interlinked with one another. I mean, the best thing to do in a place bounded by something called curfew hours is definitely something to do with BREAKING THE CURFEW HOURS. (By breaking we mean going out past the curfew time which is supposed to be from 11pm to 6am). And, if there's something to be done that breaks the curfew, it always have to do with going to BANGSAR. I mean, there's like a linkage between these two actions. Check tis out: We came back after the Cohort 5 Annual Dinner but we feel like staying out to lepak; we decided to break the curfew and go to Bangsar.. We were staying up late chatting with one another and we felt hungry; we decided to break the curfew and go to Bangsar.. Me and adam came back from MidV and we dont feel like going back to dorm, we decided to break the curfew and go to Bangsar.. Me and Shogi decided to celebrate Adelynn's birthday but cafe was closed; we decided to break the curfew and go to Bangsar... See the never-ending link??
So yeah, that's all we.. I did (alone and together with some other people, of course) when i was alone in IPBA when most people have been lone gone for ther holidays. Of course, there are still the minor stuff we did that we thought might not need to be mentioned or highlighted. So where's number 8 to 10 you ask? Wel, i never said that this was countdown or whatever but i might be updating it with more stuff when i feel like it. Chao for now.

Sleepless Nights.. no, literally..
Delaqroux Inc Updates...
I havent been sleeping well lately. Just cant seem to fall asleep. Started out since few nights ago. I mean, i do get some sleep but only for 2-3 hours but i dont feel rejuvenated at all. Guess i've been thinking too much since recently and in my life, it normally happens when that happened and thanks too that, more sleepless nights for me. At times, i'm starting to have this feeling that going to sleep is nearly the next scariest thing to do as that is exactly the time when i let my body remain inactive, simultaneously causing my head to function an extra 200%. So when my head is preoccupied with a whole list of stuff to think off already, this period of time where i should be sleeping will cause my head to go crazy. I cant count sheeps. I cant imagine grassy fields and open meadow. I just see things going back and forth, action and consequences, and worse still, my head will start struggling to look for solutions that will just make my head blow up.
Damn, i seriously feel tired... Maybe i'm thinking too much... Maybe i'm going crazy...
I'm exhausted with tryin to prove the impossible... I'm sick of trying to make people believe...
I dont feel significant... I'm starting to question my existence... Who am i really?
wait.. what?

Interspecies War
Delaqroux Inc Updates.
Well, there i was, minding my own business with my beloved laptop on the floor when i hear aweird buzzing sound coming from right behind me. It came from the locker and it sounds like something hitting on it, gently but in a very extremely rapid manner. At first i thought it was just our pile of plastic bags, gently buzzing in the wind. But no, it doesnt sound like it. First thing's first, it was a buzzing sound of somekind indeed. Second, it didnt sound gentle, it sounded more and more furiously constant that i started scanning around the locker side to find out what it was. And there it was, the answer to my question. I never support racism but if there's one thing black that i would love to hate, it's that thing; cockroach.
Damnit! OF all times when i'm all alone and without any aerosol spray cans! Thus, i deviced and execute a primitive pest-ridding plan that once worked back when Adam and I was in block 4, fighting over a little cockroach in the kitchen; grab a broomstick, whack the living deadlights out of the cockroach and shove it out of the room. It might not kill the cockroach but as long as it is out of the room, i'll feel safe again. So, i grabbed the broomstick and start whacking on the creature in full fury. Nope, it didnt work like last time. That is when i remembered the first rule in war. Ground armaments can beat ground units, but not air units. So, in the next second;
"OMGWTF THE COCKROACH CAN FLY!!!???"
Ladies and gentlemen, if there's one thing i despise even more than cockroaches are flying ones. Okay, for all those people out there who's going "Come on.. it's just a cockroach. what's the biggie yada yada yada", well, lemme tell you something. Imagine that long six legs of that cockroach crawling up your leg, moving deeper and deeper into your shirt so you cant see them but you'll still feel all skinny six tiny grip of them legs, creeping all over your four limbs fluttering its wings in a saddistic way when it thinks that you're never going to be able to find it? Imagine the feel of that six legged sonnovabitch in your hair when it landed on top of your head right out of the air when you're sitting duck below! Now, that's good enough of a reason to friggin kill that motherfucker flying cockroach!! Need any more??
Anyways, back to the story; for some reason, the cockroach seemed to understand the fear within me when i noticed that my plan to kill the cockroach failed. And for some point, it seemed to enjoy it as it started flying randomly across the room, missing my head by an inch everytime it passed by. I started dashing towards the door. It is true when they say that when you're in a panick state, nothing seems to work the way you want to. Our broken door which normaly can just be opened by pushing was stuck fast as in someone was holding it from the outside. It was like some sick hell in a cell match between me and the flying freak now. There wasnt any aerosoil spray in the room and continuously swinging the broomstick in the air will never hit something flying that fast. So what am i supposed to do? I rather die than letting that cockroach land on my hair and start crawling all over to the back of my neck and into my t-shirt collar. I can never stand that. I cant even stand the thought of it! I rather die!!
I looked around the room for the cockroach! Somehow, that bitch has landed on the floor, probably considering every moment now as a sweet saddistic game where i'm the one on the losing edge and he's just toying around with this other player trying to fight for his survival. Any wrong move i make now, and the cockroach is sure to fly again, probably precisely landing on me this time around. Shit! What do i do now?
Wait, what is that in my plastic piles? A can of spray paint? Well, i heard of these things having aerosol form of chemical inside them. Even if i'm wrong, the smell of the spray paint can knock out an individual if she or he get OD'ed of it. So, the paint inside must have somekind of a poison material somehow. Well, then, cockroach, let's see how strong you are... AGAINST A BLACK SPRAY PAINT!!! Before i realize it, i'm spraying furiously at the cockroach. I bet that thing never suspected me to make that move. It was a direct hit and the cockroach was glittering in the fluorescent light, covered in fresh wet, black spray paint. However, the cockroach started getting furious, it started fluttering its wing, running around in every direction aggresively. Perhaps, the paint blinded it or something. Eitherways, the cockroach couldnt seem to fly. Its opened wings seemed to be heavy to be moving properly as they are wet with black paint that they simply flutter and dragged all over the floor. It was a success but it might not be a permanent one. What if the cockroach will get back its flying ability once it manages to dry off the paint. I still have to sweep it out of the room... or at least, kill it. But how? Whack it with newspaper? No way, if one thing i hate as much as a cockroach and a flying cockroach is one with its exoskeleton all over the place and its guts smeared all over the floor. So, i need a nice clean kill.
As if some strange aggresive instinct to survive has led me beyond my senses. I grabbed the lighter on my table and immediatley, lit it up. I held the lit up lighter few inches from the nozzle of the spray paint, towards the temporarily helpless cockroach. Everything was in a straight fine line; the nozzle, followed by the fire from the lighter, and finally, the cockroach on the floor. I hit the nozzle to spray in full blast. The paint came out towards the fire and as i predicted it, the spray paint caught on fire in a classic flame-thrower manner. I was like a flame trooper in the middle of a battlefield. And my target; obviously, the cockroach. The flame flickered over the bitch's pathetic black body and soon swallowed the cockroach by whole. I did it! I burnt the cockroach alive!! As i easen up on the spray paint. I saw a small piece of creature fluttering around on the floor with still a lil bit of fire on it. It was half of the cockroach. His whole abdomen is on fire. For the first time throughout that quiet night, i chuckled and i laughed my lungs out. It was a pleasure to see that thing in pain. I feel powerful again as i grin happily over the last remains of the burnt alive insect in front of me.
So here's the summary of everything. Adnin saw a cockroach, he tried to hit it but that thing can fly. So when the cockroach landed on the floor, he took a spray paint and a lighter and flame throw the cockroach to crisp. Adnin 1- Cockroach 0
